Sleigh Rides
Antler Ridge Farms - Traverse City
Antler Ridge Farms has been providing horse drawn sleigh rides since 1982. Enjoy an old fashioned sleigh ride as you're taken out to the woods for a great bonfire, hot chocolate and marshmallows to roast. You will be pulled by two Percheron Draft Horses, mother and son team Dixie and Danny.
Reservations for the 2022-23 season are being accepted
The season begins on December 18th. Rides are available on Christmas Eve Day, and daily December 26th through January 1st. After January 1st, rides are available on weekends.
The cost is $195.00 and you can bring up to 12 people.

There is not an indoor restroom, a porta-jon is available for use.
Blair Acres - Lake City
Blair Acres offers formal sleigh rides, little red sleigh rides and big red open sleigh rides. Sleigh rides include an approximately 15-minute stop at their cabin to warm up by the fire pit and hot chocolate.

CJ's Stable - Manton
Join CJ's Stable on a beautiful sleigh ride through the snowy trails of Northern Michigan pulled by draft horses. Their trails are private and cross over 110 acres. Sleigh rides stop halfway so you can get warm by a cozy fire and drink hot cocoa (or coffee). Guests may bring their own beverages (no glass) and snacks for the fire.

Crystal Mountain - Thompsonville
Be whisked away through Crystal Mountain's winter wonderland by a team of gentle Belgian horses. Complimentary hot chocolate concludes the ride.
Pick-up and drop-off will be at the Crystal Center
Rides are approximately 20-25 minutes in length
Cost is $10 per person, no charge for children under the age of 12 months
Rides begin at 5:30pm

Morgan Valley Farm & McCarry's Clydesdales - Copemish
Morgan Valley Farm and McCarry's Clydesdales has been raising registered Morgan and Clydesdale horses since 1970. They offer horse drawn wagon and sleigh rides, message the farm on Facebook for prices and availability.
Ranch Rudolf - Traverse City
Sleigh rides start at Ranch Rudolf and follow a seasonal road through the woods along the Boardman River, and then loop around back toward the Ranch. The ride itself takes approximately 45 minutes.
Reservations are required
Sleigh or hay rides are $16 per person and children 2 and under are free
There is a minimum charge of $160 if you have fewer than 10 people in your group

Horseback Riding
The Highlands at Harbor Springs - Harbor Springs
Experience The Highlands from a new perspective during the winter, on horseback! Join their guides for an equestrian journey throughout the resort's trails. Pony rides are available for children under 8.

Trail riders are to wear long pants and closed-toe shoes.
Each rider is required to wear a helmet, which is provided.

Boyne Mountain - Boyne Falls
Guided trail rides and pony rides are available during the winter at Boyne Mountain. Trail rides take riders 8 and up through the resort's terrain.
Riders must be at least 8 years of age
Maximum weight 225lbs
Waivers must be signed by all riders or by guardian
